CVA’s strategic plan, which can be downloaded below, sets out our ambitions under three key headings - capacity building, volunteering and community empowerment.
In working together with the staff team on the plan, CVA’s trustees had two main aims – firstly, to align our priorities with key government programmes such as the Big Society, localism and public service transformation and secondly to regain a voluntary sector ownership of these agendas, even as they are rolled out at a central government level.
