Fully Booked: First Aid for Community Groups

Wednesday 02 May 2018
10:30 to 13:30

Would your group, volunteers or community have the skills to cope in a crisis?

Croydon Voluntary Action is delighted to be hosting one of the British Red Cross sessions for organisations and community groups supporting people who are at risk and who would have the greatest impact from a first aid intervention, including adults over 65 who are at more risk of slips, trips and falls.

This course, although it covers all the general aspects of First Aid, is indeed particularly designed for those of you supporting the elderly and homeless.

Their tailored first aid session will provide you with the skills and confidence tohelp in a first aid emergency.

What can you expect from it?

  • Effective, easy to learn first aid education in a relaxed and informal style.
  • We provide relevant first aid skills tailored to the needs of the group.
  • We break down the barriers to helping others.
  • We build confidence and willingness to help in a first aid emergency.
