Does your organisation work with children, young people or families? Why not join CYP&FN to take advantage of its wealth of knowledge and experience.
We are a forum of voluntary sector groups working with families, children and young people in Croydon and bring together groups that are passionate about children and young people, regardless of group size or area of work (we have groups specialising in providing emotional support, supplementary education, working with children in need, families on parenting issues, faith groups and more).
The network has suffered from significant funding cuts and is presently delivering less activities than it used to, but we remain a forum of vibrant and experienced voluntary sector providers.
Benefits of joining:
- You will be informed about latest policy developments in Croydon, new projects, funding streams, free courses for professionals and users through the four "focus on Children & young people" CVA e-bulletins we produce every year.
- You will have a say on local decision-making and get your voice heard. 17 CYPN members sit as representatives on a number of strategic partnerships for Croydon’s children and young people and families, making sure the voice of the CYPN network is heard. Representatives feed back to all members regularly.
- You will be able to respond to campaigns and be engaged by networking with other voluntary groups delivering services in Croydon through our annual event and ad-hoc sessions.
"The CYPFN network brings strength and quality to the voluntary sector in Croydon. It allows voluntary sector groups to meet other organisations, work together, receive training and funding information. This guarantees less duplication and more enhanced services. The network is a point of reference to learn who the specialists in different areas are. Through its representatives sitting on strategic boards we can see the bigger picture".
