Unleashing the creative spirit of young people
Join Music Relief Foundation for what promises to be an entertaining evening of music, drama, speeches and presentations. Over the last few months, their young people have been working on Music Relief's project 'My Life, My Progress' with T.I.A, an organisation of likeminded individuals with over 40 years of experience. drama, pEngaging in discussions giving them a platform to speak out against the negativity of some youths who portray all youths in a negative light. The young people have worked tirelessly during the workshops, they have demonstrated a level of commitment, dedication and ownership towards the project ensuring that their voices are heard in a positive light and are excited to display their great work to you.
We are excited to announce that we will be graced by special guest Chris Preddie OBE - at 24 years old was one of the youngest receipients of the OBE in 2012. He was awarded an OBE for his youth work. Chris grew up on the fringes of gangs and drugs, and is a cousin of Damilola Taylor's Killers.
The evening will culminate with an award ceremony awarded for achievement and recognition of service to Music Relief Foundation.
