Fabricated and Induced Illness Conference

This event gives the opportunity to discuss and learn together on some of the most challenging issues when working with fabricated and induced illness, including:
- Learning from serious case reviews
- Early Recognition – spotting early warnings
- The importance of focussing on the child and responding effectively to parental issues and worrying behaviours
- Effective management of referrals
- Understanding the roles of health and other professionals
- The importance of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency communication
- The importance of safeguarding supervision
- Recognising the importance of professional challenge
This event is for managers and practitioners form health, social care, education, police and community and voluntary settings
