The One Croydon Alliance invites suitable expressions of interest to the Local VoluntaryPartnership Market Engagement Event to be held on 31 January 2018, 1.00 -3.00pm at the Braithwaite Hall, Croydon Town Hall, Katharine Street, Croydon CR0 1NX.


One Croydon Alliance is running this workshop to share thinking to date and to explore a series of questions that will enable them to inform the specifications for the formation of a Local Voluntary Partnership (LVP) programme as part of the Out of Hospital/Active and Supportive Communities programme.

The workshop will be of interest to any organisations and groups with an interest in being a partner of the Local Voluntary Partnership programme.

The Local Voluntary Partnership programme is to be formed of Voluntary Community Organisations. You would be considered to be a Voluntary Community Organisation if you are a not for profit within the third sector and if a person might reasonably consider that you act for the benefit of the community in England.

The aim of the workshop is to:

 

  • Share the vision for development of the voluntary and community sector model as part of health and social care integration in Croydon.
  • Explore a number of questions with potential partners to help understand the capability and capacity of the market to deliver the vision
  • Take feedback from potential partners about opportunities and barriers
  • Provide additional information and answer questions about the next steps.

 

It is proposed at this stage that the Council lead the procurement process on behalf of the One Croydon Alliance. This market engagement activity does not constitute a call for competition to procure any services, supplies or works for the Council and the Council is not bound to accept any proposals offered.

The Council is not liable for any costs, fees or expenses incurred by any party participating in this exercise. Any procurement of any services, supplies or works by the One Croydon Alliance in due course will be carried out in accordance with the Council’s commissioning processes.
