Grassroots Giving 2017
Open to community groups that show a real commitment to their local community and how they are making a difference, enhancing lives in their neighbourhood, also volunteer orientated groups, who are used to relying on minimal funds and the good will and generosity of members.
Scottish Power Foundation
Open to voluntary groups in the UK grants £25,000-£250,000 for projects that meet one of the five criteria.

Comic Relief - Care Home Challenge Fund
Grants for care home providers - charity and non charity - of between £10,000 and £20,000 to deliver activities to improve the wellbeing of residents, and help staff and residents forge stronger relationships. Activities that encourage physical or mental activity, movement and increased mobility, social connections and engagement for residents are eligible such as martial arts or dance, but could also include other forms of gentle leisure/recreational activities such as gardening.
The Shackleton Foundation
Support and grants of up to £10,000 to 'to enable aspiring leaders and social entrepreneurs to establish their own ventures to help young people in challenging circumstances.

Big Potential Advanced Grants
Grants up to £150,000 for VCSEs with an ambition to raise more than £500,000 of repayable investment or win contracts of at least £1 million. They should have a strong proposal and be sufficiently ambitious to be able to develop a project of the desired scale in a set time period. VCSEs applying to this route will be expected to have a sufficiently strong grasp of what it means to take on social investment and understand their social investment needs.

Healthy Heart Grants
Grants of between £1,000 and £10,000 are available for projects that promote heart health and to prevent or reduce the risks of heart disease in specific groups/communities.

Funding projects at a national level. This deadline's priority is 'Sustainable Futures'.

Funding is for charitable projects that will support Armed Forces and Emergency Services communities across the UK.

New! Sport England Families Fund
Supporting projects and activities that will enable families with children to get active and play sport together. Grants of between £50,000 and £500,000 are offered over a maximum term of four years to partners that have a successful track record in changing behaviour with families in lower socio-economic groups.
