Croydon Healthy Homes Service- Introduction to Fuel Poverty support

Tuesday 03 November 2020
11:00 to 12:30

This free online session is hosted by Croydon Voluntary Action and will be delivered by Malcolm Bell, Energy Projects Manager for Croydon Council. Aimed at social prescribers this webinar will identify fuel poverty and the support available to residents through the new enhanced Croydon Healthy Homes Servic.

According to the latest government figures, in 2018, 17,108 households in Croydon lived in fuel poverty. With residents spending more time at home due to Covid-19 and using more gas and electricity than usual, the number of residents struggling to heat their homes and pay their gas and electricity bills will increase.

In November, Croydon Council will relaunch its Croydon Healthy Homes service, with a new team of qualified Energy Advisors. Learn more about the free support they can offer residents.

A Zoom invitation with log in details will be emailed to attendees prior to this event. Book here.
