Recruiting #100 Black Interns

Role:
Looking to offer internships to Black students across the UK to help kick start their career in investment management.  Currently over 170 of the industry’s leading players are participating as a way to source a more diverse group of talent for the long-term. Internships will be paid and last a minimum of six weeks over the Summer of 2021. Please note that participating firms are based almost exclusively in London.

Who Can Apply:
You are encouraged to apply if you are a Black person currently studying at a university in the U.K., on a gap year or recently graduated from a U.K. university (2019 and 2020). This is open to Black persons of all academic backgrounds.

Who Will Be Selected:
The firms participating in the programme will select the intern or interns they would like to hire. Each firm will have their own way of evaluating candidates, which may include interviews (virtually or in person) and/or assessments. Typically firms will look for the following traits in candidates: intellect; strong work ethic; curiosity; strong sense of initiative; organisational skills; analytical skills and excellent communication skills.

How to Apply:
Click here to submit your CV and cover letter (of no more than 400 words) highlighting why you are a good fit for this program. Please keep in mind that you apply to the #100BLACKINTERNS programme as a whole, rather than to a specific firm that is participating. You can find a full list of the participating companies here
