Buyers of the cards can choose the amount to be sent each week, and recipients are sent a personalised email with a message from the sender. The email directs them to the Ammado Philanthropy Academy site where they are invited to view videos from three global charities, and to choose which ones to donate the funds on their card to.
The charities change on a weekly basis and are in a specific sector, such as animals or international aid with the aim of helping to build awareness of a range of current world issues.
