The Mental Health Crisis Care work stream within Healthy London Partnership’s Urgent & Emergency Care programme is undertaking engagement with service-users and carers to further understand the experiences of people who have undergone a mental health crisis in London.
The charity, Mind, have supported the programme in developing an online survey, which is focussed on the experiences of those whose crisis led to:
- Attending an Emergency Department (A&E) or
- Being detained under section 135 or 136 of the Mental Health Act by the police
The information gathered will help ensure the programme’s work meets the needs of service users and will also be used to develop a set of 'I statements' -first person statements about what people want care services to be like.
They want to reach as many people as possible with lived-experience of mental health crisis, by asking them to complete the link below.
