Consultation on London Perinatal Mental Health Services Specification
NHS England would like you to take part in the consultation process for the draft London perinatal mental health service specification for community provision. They are keen for your input to help shape the specification to ensure it is robust and adaptable for local use, please use the form which can be downloaded from below to add your comments and feedback.
The London perinatal mental health commissioning project aims to improve the commissioning of perinatal mental health services across London. The document has been developed as a template for commissioners based on national guidance and best practice and designed to help commissioners understand the complexity surrounding the perinatal mental health pathway and the variety of health and care organisations needed to establish cross-working relationships.
As part of the commissioning project, a co-production workshop was held to inform the development of the service specification and delegates from commissioning, mental health, maternity, children services, social care, public health and people with lived experience came together to discuss what matters most along the perinatal care pathway.
They would be very grateful for your thoughts on specific areas of the specification or on the document as a whole and look forward to hearing your views. Please use the consultation form to communicate your comments and feedback regarding the document and reply using the following email: email@example.com.
The deadline for response is Friday 4th March with publication and launch by the end of March.
