Battersea Arts Centre are looking for young producers to work alongside experienced producers to curate part of the 'Homegrown Festival'. No previous experience required. New and creative ideas very much welcome. The Festival is a celebration of work by young artists, performers and producers.
You will gain an introduction to producing through masterclasses in scheduling, budgeting, marketing, project management and artist liaison and learn from Battersea Arts Centre producers and arts professionals that run a range of events – from massive club nights to cabaret socials and independent festivals.
As a Young Producer, you will be given a brief, a budget and support to deliver your own projects within the Homegrown Festival.
You don’t need any previous knowledge of producing. They are interested in anyone with new ideas and creative interests – whether it’s in theatre, music, film, dance, street art, installations, spoken word, comedy or technology.
This is an opportunity to bring out-of-the-box ideas to Battersea Arts Centre, from DJ nights to experimental performances and live debates.
