Parents in Partnership

Parents in Partnership, Croydon, established in 1992, is a successful and well respected voluntary organisation supporting over 500 families in Croydon who have a child or young person with a disability or special needs. We provide Carers with information, signposting, training services and represent their views through our Parent Forum by working closely with partners who shape services to meet the needs of these families.

The Charity is looking to recruit a Chairperson on the Board in a voluntary capacity. If you are interested in contributing to the work and governance of a local charity whose mission is to improve opportunities for families and have the desire to help shape our strategic aims and objectives for the future, we would like to hear from you. We welcome interest from individuals with a range of skills, knowledge and experiences from all backgrounds and walks of life.  We particularly welcome interest from individuals with strategic leadership skills and experience of charity governance and working with or of part of a Board of Trustees. Personal experience of or work in the field of disability would be desirable
In addition we are looking to expand our current number of Trustees on the board, so if you have the same interest in our organisations aims please consider this rewarding and skill developing role.
