The Community Outreach team works with people and communities across the country to increase public understanding and engagement with the UK Parliament.  They are particularly passionate about supporting groups of people who are underrepresented in Parliament which includes:

  • Young People
  • BAME communities
  • Women
  • Adults with disabilities
  • Long term unemployed/homeless

They offer a range of workshops and presentations, in which they try to cater to the audiences that they work with. In addition to running sessions that provide a general introduction to Parliament and how you can get your voice heard they offer workshops which support community groups to campaign. They also deliver sessions which are specifically targeted to Women and Adults with disabilities. You can find a summary of their workshops here on the website.

All sessions are free and if needed, they can cover the cost of venue hire and refreshments.
