The Pan-London Housing Reciprocal Agreement is a centrally coordinated voluntary collaboration between local authorities and registered housing providers in London. So far, 24 London boroughs have signed up including Croydon. Its purpose is to prevent homelessness in cases of:

  • Domestic abuse
  • Other Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) strands including sexual violence and exploitation (including prostitution and trafficking), so called ‘honour’ based violence, female genital mutilation (FGM), forced marriage and stalking
  • Hate crimes
  • Where people are at risk of harm from gangs or serious youth violence
  • Other high risk community safety reasons.
