Please help us combat older people’s social isolation
It is estimated that over 9000 older people in Croydon suffer from social isolation. What barriers do BME older people face if they want to socialise? What should be done to help BME older people socialise more? You can talk to us individually or we can come to your organisation and discuss in a group. Mental health and wellbeing talks
The BME Community Development Workers at Croydon BME Forum can offer mental health and wellbeing talks to local organisations and community members throughout Croydon. This training will include topics such as Top tips on how to look after your own emotional wellbeing, Stress management, How to improve your sleep, Stigma and discrimination towards mental health, understanding the symptoms of depression, anxiety and other mental health conditions and the support available in Croydon.
