Exciting Development Opportunity

The National Counter Terrorism Police Headquarters (CTPHQ) are looking for inspirational, enthusiastic, motivated and passionate young people (18 to 25) who can form a National Youth Counter Terrorism Advisory Group (YTAG), to advise CTPHQ about strategy, policy and operational delivery of Counter Terrorism Policing from a young person perspective. They want to begin an ongoing dialogue that will help improve relationships and deliver better and safer communities across the country, more resilient to extremist with improved critical thinking skills.

Background

The main national Counter Terrorism Advisory Groups (CTAG) has now been running for just over a year and they are now forming a number of groups that will feed in to advise the most senior Counter Terrorism Police officers in the UK on how to continue to improve CT Policing. This is the first meeting of the youth group, and they are keen on ensuring they get the voice of young people from across the UK.

Expenses Paid

All rail travel is paid for by CTPHQ; lunch and refreshments will also be provided. This is a great opportunity to get involved with something that will have a significant impact over the coming years.
