Croydon is home to a number of organisations that provide a free food service for the most vulnerable in our community. The Croydon Community Food Store was the first to take on the food bank name. There are many people in Croydon that are struggling with food poverty.

Once again Croydon Community Food Store will be hosting a Christmas Lunch at CVA to bring Croydon residents together one last time, before the end of this year. A traditional Chirstmas Dinner is served on the day and there are gifts and raffle prizes for all ages distributed on the day. This event is not faith based and all religious or non-religious individuals and families are welcome to attend.

You may also support by donating:

  • Warm socks
  • Gloves and other winter items, (or items useful to those living on the street, including can openers),
  • Toiletries,
  • Gifts for children
  • Chocolate.

Join us in this year's festivities on Wednesday 19th December from 12.30 - 3.00pm, no food will be served after 2.30.
