Lots going on with Croydon Libraries

The Reading Friends project gives opportunities for people who are vulnerable, isolated and at risk of loneliness to meet others, share their stories, make new friends and have fun. The RF’s project was originally aimed at reducing isolation in older people and has now been extended to include all age groups, particularly in light of the current covid-19 lockdown.  

Coffee Afternoon 
Tuesdays:  16, 23, & 30 March 2021
3.00 - 3.30pm
A virtual coffee afternoon via Zoom, start new conversations, meet new people, read, talk, share and have fun.  Suitable for adults. 

Family Time
Mondays:  15, 22 & 29 March 2021
10.00 - 10.30am 
Join in via Zoom with your little ones, relax, read, talk, share sing, some rhymes and meet new people.

Enchanted Forest Story Hunt!

Join storyteller John Kirk on a storytelling scavenger hunt. A story hunt is an interactive adventure that takes the story hunter into a world of stories and imagination for 30 minutes of family fun. This session incorporates popular folk and fairy tales and is suitable for families with children age 3+.
