Croydon Community Partnership Against Trauma Programme

The above programme brings together a dynamic partnership of Croydon Council, Croydon Voluntary Action, Third sector partner organisations, four primary schools and two colleges young people and their parents/ guardians.

The three-year programme aims to support young people who have experienced some element of childhood trauma and together as a partnership offer young people a way of addressing the trauma.

The programme specifically targets young people who are at the tricky transition stages of their schooling journey and provides them with one shool term of mentoring and a second term of a fun activity.

As an example of the fun activity, young people from Castle Hill Primary have been working with Good Food Matters and ASBO Media to transform their school gardens into a place that the entire school community can be proud of.
