As part of a Big Lottery partnership bid with the local Citizens' Advice Bureau (CAPT project), CVA was able to offer one to one sessions and a bursary covering the cost of the quality mark to seven local groups. All groups have now submitted their application for a desk top review to the AQS and are preparing for the on site audit.
We are delighted that their efforts and hard work is resulting in the achievement of a quality mark, which we hope will enhance their profile as well as their ability to attract new contracts.

"We very much appreciate the AQS bursary support we received and in particular the input from Ima Miah at CVA. Ima went through the entire workbook with us suggesting ways we could shape our bid and our activities to meet the standard. She was knowledgeable and gave us the time we needed to work through the process. She is also helping us to prepare for the audit visit which is very useful." - Cara Scott, Human Resources Manager, Mind in Croydon.
"The support we have received from the team at CVA was very valuable from helping us to finalise our policies, understanding the process to checking workbooks.
