A new study from the University of Southampton has found that volunteering has a relationship with people's well-being but only in later life. However an article on NCVO's (National Council for Voluntary Organisations) blog ‘Let’s not forget that volunteering benefits all ages‘ shares ideas about what the data could tell those of us working with and supporting volunteers.
The blog covers:
- A positive association between volunteering and well being
- Younger volunteers till experience benefits
- Understanding the impact of volunteering throughout someone's life
- We need to talk about volunteering by older people
