Food Flagship Programme - Free advice and support to grow food

Any community group/organisation/charity etc. is welcome to refer people who would enjoy learning to grow vegetables and fruit.

They’ll be supported by volunteer Master Gardeners, trained by national charity Garden Organic, who will be working in community gardens to get the borough growing!  Master Gardeners are part of Croydon Council’s Food Flagship programme. They share their skills with members of the community who are likely to benefit from gardening and food growing.

If interested in benefitting from being outside, in company or individually, learning to grow vegetables and fruit for better health and wellbeing Master Gardeners is very happy to offer support.  Please contact Liza Scholefield, call 07584 474778 or email  lscholefield@gardenorganic.org.uk for a simple referral form.
