Family Fortunes is an innovative research project which helps families to improve their financial well-being and resilience. The project aims to change the attitudes, knowledge, skills and behaviours of parents and their children about how they manage their own and the family’s money.

They are looking for organisations that already work with families to participate, either by running a financial capability course or by asking existing learners to complete two short surveys. This research project is being run Campaign for Learning and funded by the Money Advice Service.

Free training and ongoing support is offered in London on 12th September for anyone who wants to deliver a financial capability programme. Travel costs for those attending the training will be covered and organisations can apply for an IT grant - subject to terms and conditions.

Free training places are limited and available to practitioners who are able to deliver the 10-hour financial capability programme by October 2017 to local families who have English as an additional language (EAL) with children aged 7-11. Please note learners can be families you already work with.  Book here
