London Councils has launched an informative new flooding preparation video to help businesses and Londoners plan for flooding.

This also shows Londoners how to work out if they live or work in a flood-prone area, as well as offering advice on how best to plan for flooding.

Cllr Julian Bell, Chair of London Councils' Transport and Environment Committee, said: 'Flooding is a significant risk in many parts of London. Boroughs are working with the Environment Agency and Thames Water to maintain flood defences across the capital and invest in a range of new measures over the next decade, but sometimes this is not enough, particularly in extreme weather conditions. Our new video shows Londoners how to work out if they live or work in a flood-prone area, as well as offering advice on how best to plan for flooding.'
