The Premier League (PL) Enterprise is a programme designed to help tackle the issue of under-achievement at school, the challenges with individuals lacking aspiration and ambition and the broader issue ensuring young people have the skills required to make the most of their lives and more specifically employment and self-employment opportunities.

Now in its seventh year, the, is an annual event where schools and young people can take part in an exciting national competition. The event has become an important milestone in the Premier League promotional diary and this year is supported by the PL and Sport Relief. Tasked to work on a real brief set by the Premier League’s Executive Chairman, Richard Scudamore, participating teams have the opportunity to learn more about different aspects of their Football Club including marketing, finance and customer service as well as developing key entrepreneurial skills which are put to the test throughout the Challenge.

Over the last 2 years Crystal Palace FC Foundation has been successful in coaching two teams to the final and we are focused this year, to have the winning team. This year the PL are focusing their engagement on schools, opening the Challenge to pupils in year 9. If you would like Crystal Palace FC Foundation to support a team of 5 ‘year 9’ pupils in your school, please contact Susan Patterson-Smith on 07808 322983 or 0208 634 5418 to book a presentation meeting.

In the meantime, please note that the local club heats will take place on the 9th December 2015, 5.30pm – 7pm for 3 teams to present their ideas to a prestigious panel of judges at CPFC, Selhurst Park, Holmesdale Road, London SE25 6PU.
