Croydon Voluntary Action (CVA) is an independent charity that is governed by a board of Trustees.
CVA’s mission statement focuses the organisation on “promoting, supporting and developing effective voluntary action, community development and community activity for the benefit of the whole community within the London Borough of Croydon”
Would you like to help govern CVA? Trustees can focus on different areas of the organisation's work depending on their interests and experience.
What we need from Trustees:
- Commitment to attend Trustee meetings
- Ability to be a Trustee in alignment with the Charity Commission criteria
- A knowledge of Croydon and a passion to support CVA’s staff and volunteer team to achieve CVA’s aims.
- Ability to work as a team and contribute skills and experience to the work of the Trustee board.
