Job title: Information and Advice Support Worker
Salary: £20,406 pro rata.
No of hours: 23 hours per week. 12 month fixed term contract.
Role: Age UK Croydon exists to make life easier for all older people in the London Borough of Croydon. We provide a wide range of services and activities and aim to help older people live as independently as possible within the community.
We are looking to recruit a support worker to work within the accredited Information and Advice Service, providing support to older people who are receiving Meals on Wheels and need additional help to improve their quality of life. Working with the Information and Advice team, you will visit clients in their homes as well as providing telephone support where appropriate through our telephone helpline.
