Well Versed poets have just completed poetry workshops with 125 Year 4 children from 3 Thornton Heath junior schools, all of whom received arts awards and performed at school assemblies.

The schools were delighted and two want them to definitely return next year.

This is a great example of the power of shared passions and gifts, taking poetry into local schools and involving parents and teachers.

Feedback from the children has been overwhelmingly positive.

'Really enjoyed it, it was fun. I didn't think I could write poetry as it would be too hard but I can and it is really good to say things as you want.'
