Help for groups

CVA is the umbrella organisation to over a thousand voluntary and community organisations in the Croydon area. We do not presently provide one to one support to groups but regularly publicise on our website local and online events and training sessions run by our stakeholders on setting up, charity registration, fundraising, finding premises, marketing, financial management, policies and procedures.

We also provide our own "One Croydon training programme", which aims at making sure local providers are aware of specialist delivery in Croydon voluntary sector and better collaborate. The programme also covers subjects (such as Universal credi) that are key to front line staff of small voluntary groups and social enterprises as well as large established charities.

CVA collaborates with other CVSs and partners across South West London to offer or advertise free and low cost training and events for professionals working in the voluntary sector.
