Rosaline, a mother of three, is interested in starting a project with young families to have picnic days out to encourage families to make use of the local parks in the community.

Children and parents will bring packed lunches to share in the park. The aim is to encourage children in outdoor activities and socialising with others.

This group will be running every second Saturday of the month, depending on weather conditions. The first park will be the Heathfield park, gardens coombe wood. Games and activities in the park will be provided by the group leaders.
