Leeman started his journey as a passioante resident, wanting to teach healthy eating and run vegetarian food sessions for parents. He has a big community vision for Croydon and has been linked to a range of local partners, including Good Food Matters, the local GP practice, Unique Roots etc He has set up now a Community Organisation and a company limited by guarantee and started a Cook to Trade Project which trains 11-18 yr olds to prepare street food and sell it and gives them a qualification. He has also been involved in a range of local events to raise awareness of healthy eating amongst families with young children through interactive cooking workshops.
