Introduction to cyber security basics (Superhighways)

Wednesday 27 September 2023
14:00 to 15:00

Introduction to cyber security basics is a monthly session run by Superhighways.

If you are a small UK based community group, you might be wondering how to protect your organisation from cyber threats. Cyber security is not only important for big businesses, but also for small charities and non-profits that rely on technology to operate and communicate. You will be introduced to 5 simple steps that the National Cyber Security Centre recommends for improving your cyber resilience.

You will also learn about various resources that you can use and share with your staff, volunteers and communities to raise awareness and promote best practice.

This session is suitable for anyone who has any access to technology and data in your organisation, whether that's via a laptop, a tablet, a smartphone or a website.
