Expanding Cultural Competencies: Supporting Young LGBTQ+ (Croydon Safeguarding Children Partnership)

Supporting professionals to have greater confidence when working with young people who may identify as LGBTQ+ and present with self-harm.
This will be a full-day, in-person session (light refreshments included).
The goal of the training is to equip practitioners with the skills and knowledge they need to handle these sensitive issues effectively, improving the support they provide to vulnerable young people. By taking part in this program, professionals will learn how to build trusting relationships and manage risks.
Closing date for booking is 14 June 2024
This training is free and, open to any professional working to support children and young people in Croydon.
