Croydon Healthy Homes front-line worker training (Croydon Healthy Homes)

Croydon Healthy Homes are running a training workshop for front-line staff and volunteers on Thursday 30th January, between 2pm and 5pm, at the Town Hall, Katherine Street.
In this workshop, we will discuss:
- energy prices and the price cap
- current advice about energy tariffs
- what is fuel poverty?
- health impacts of living in a cold home
- managing your energy account and support available from energy companies
- using energy in your home
- grant funding for home energy improvements
- other energy savings advice
- support with water bills
We will also provide information about advice and support available through Croydon Healthy Homes and how to apply.
The training session is for Croydon Council staff, and people who work and volunteer in public sector and voluntary and community sectors in the borough, who work directly with low income and vulnerable Croydon residents.
