Domestic Abuse Awareness Training (CSCP)

Thursday 15 May 2025
10:00 to 13:00

The impact of domestic abuse on children is recognised as a significant safeguarding risk, especially when other factors such as parental mental health and parental substance misuse are also issues.

This multi-agency training will help practitioners understand and identify domestic abuse, and explain the processes to assess and manage risk.

This half-day session aims to enhance Practitioners who need to be aware of the risks of Domestic Abuse and the impact on babies, children, and young people within the home. For all professionals and volunteers who regularly work with families and children, and/or their parents/carers - or have a period of irregular but intense contact.
