Support Croydon Unpaid Carers Campaign – Engagement Sessions (Adult Social Care - Croydon Council)

Thursday 11 September 2025
10:30 to 11:30

Join this online session to learn how you can show your support for Croydon's unpaid carers.

The Croydon Carers Strategy highlights the need to raise awareness of the support available for people providing unpaid care to a friend or family member—around 7.9% of our population.

Adult Social Care and Health at Croydon Council are piloting a new campaign which aims to increase the identification of unpaid carers in Croydon.

We know from research that our communities have trust in health settings, such as GP's and pharmacies, along with well-respected voluntary, community, and faith organisations, who all play a valuable role in reaching and supporting individuals.

We are inviting colleagues to a session to learn more about this campaign, to share the campaign toolkit developed and explore how these important messages can be amplified to reach our Croydon residents who are caring.
