Join this FREE workshop for professionals working with children and young people ‘Little Mouse’: Creative ways to support children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse.

 


This two-hour workshop will introduce attendees to the effects of domestic abuse on children and young people, and core principles and practices around using creative interventions to support their recovery. Using the book Little Mouse Finds a Safe Place (Worth Publishing) by Registered Dramatherapist Ann Dix, the session will demonstrate how to facilitate supportive creative work with children and young people, individually or in groups.  The group will then have the opportunity to try out some of these ways of working for themselves, and share learning with colleagues through practical activities. 

 

When: Thursday 6 November, 2025, 2.45 arrival for 3.00pm start, ending at 5.00pm with optional networking time afterwards

Professionals from across sectors working with children and young people who may have experienced and/or witnessed domestic abuse and violence are invited to attend.

 

Please note, spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Upon registering, you will receive notification of whether your place is confirmed or if you have been offered a place on the waiting list.

If your space is confirmed and your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible so that your space can be allocated to another interested individual.
