The 2026 Croydon Summit
Friday 26 June 2026
10:00 to 14:00
Join us at The 2026 Croydon Summit.
Friday 26 June 2026, 10am-2pm, at Croydon College
With Steve Reed, the UK Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government
With the focus on Devolution, Community Empowerment and Public Service Reform, the 2026 Croydon Summit will be used to showcase Croydon’s pathfinder projects – transformational work speaking to the national agendas that our local MP, Steve Reed, is leading on for the Government.
Earlier this decade, Steve witnessed close-up how strongly Croydon’s response to national and even global issues depended on the innovation and enterprise of its local communities. He responded in 2022 by drawing up the Croydon Citizens Charter, launching it at the inaugural meeting of our Croydon Youth Consortium with a call for hyper-local decision-making structures and community-led service-delivery models.
Now in Government, Steve wants national policy to be informed by local experience of what is working well. He’ll be inviting us at the Summit to showcase Croydon’s pioneering work on issues ranging from democratic renewal, social cohesion and neighbourhood health, to violence reduction, youth employability and mental health.
So join us at the Summit, where the spotlight will be on Croydon’s transformation agenda.
