Dignitate Charity and Dementia Adventure are partnering for Carers Week to deliver a supportive and informative learning session exploring dementia, brain health, and the importance of culturally aware support for carers and families.
This session is designed for unpaid carers, families, professionals, volunteers, and community members who want to better understand dementia and how culture, identity, language, faith, family roles, and lived experience can shape someone’s dementia journey.
The session will cover brain health and dementia, communication, mood and wellbeing, culturally sensitive support, practical caring strategies, and support for carers and community connection.
