Connecting for better health in SW London

This 90 minute online session introduces the principles of Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), a strengths-based approach that focuses on the skills, relationships and assets already present within communities.Participants will explore how to work at neighbourhood level, support residents to identify what they care enough to take action on, and build stronger local connections through community assets and participation.The session will include practical examples of how ABCD can be applied within community projects and services.Delivered by James Moore, Head of Communities at Croydon Voluntary Action, who has over 10 years’ experience developing and managing ABCD projects across the borough of Croydon.

This training is FREE for Croydon based professionals and residents. There is a £20 charge for people and organisations outside the borough of Croydon.
