Trusted Youth Allies - Online Training (London Youth)

Tuesday 14 July 2026
10:00 to 13:00

London Youth is currently delivering Trusted Youth Allies, a new programme commissioned by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) . As part of MOPAC’s statutory responsibility to ensure support is available for victims of crime in London. This initiative is designed to train trusted adults, those who may receive disclosures from young people affected by crime, particularly when those young people choose not to report incidents to the police. Helping them gain confidence, knowledge, and tools to support young victims of crime (aged 7–25) in a trauma-informed and empathetic way.

The programme offer is a free, 3.5-hour workshops and digital resources aimed at enhancing the way professionals and volunteers engage with young people who may be at risk or have been affected by crime.

Key elements include:

  • Skills development – Practical training to strengthen communication, relationships, and trauma-informed responses.

  • Community connection – Opportunities to engage with a wider network of youth groups, and local ground root services.

  • Ongoing support – Access to digital resources and tools to use in day-to-day practice as well as signposting agencies within the Young Londoners Victim Service.

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people. Join a network of trusted adults dedicated to creating safer, more supportive environments.

Please note that this event requires two separate registrations. After registering with us, you will also need to complete a second registration via an external link in order to receive the meeting details.
