Food for Thought: Helping People with Psychosis Think More Clearly (SLaM)
Tuesday 30 June 2026
18:00 to 19:30
The next Talk will be given by Professor Dame Til Wykes, who is a Professor of Clinical Psychology and Rehabilitation at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) at King’s College London, and a consultant clinical psychologist at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. Professor Wykes will explore the topic 'Food for thought: Helping People with Psychosis Think More Clearly.'
The development and implementation of psychological therapies can be slow but cognitive remediation has moved at a snail’s pace. Scientific scepticism has had a role to play but so have commercial interests in evaluating evidence and so preventing the implementation of this therapy. How do we build from here?
