Understanding what to do if you witness identity-based harassment or violence

Thameslink, Southern and Great Northern Railway is funding hundreds of places on free training sessions to empower people to take action to prevent or reduce harm when they encounter hate crime.

This free 2 hour interactive course is led by identity-based violence prevention charity, Protection Approaches.

The expert-led sessions guide participants through a series of discussions, exploring how they can safely address identity-based harms in their community, school, or workplace.

You will learn:

  • What it really means to be an active bystander - exploring perspectives, responsibilities, and boundaries
  • A.C.T - Address, Connect, Tell - Immediate tools for real-life situations
  • Creating a culture of care - simple, everyday actions that help reduce harm in the long term.
