Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) (LSCP)

Tuesday 01 December 2026
09:30 to 10:30

How to understand, identify, and safeguard against various CSAM risks posed by digital spaces.

This session explores child sexual abuse material (CSAM), generative AI, grooming, and sextortion, including the risks posed by AI-generated and manipulated images such as deepfakes. It examines what Loli content is and the safeguarding risks it presents, the normalisation of sharing indecent and intimate images, and the current legislation and safeguarding measures in place, including gaps in protection.

The course also considers wider safeguarding approaches and the vulnerabilities that can increase children and young people’s risk.
