This workshop aims to raise awareness about teenage relationship abuse.
All children and young people should have access to the support they need to develop healthy relationships for life – for many young people, this will include support to heal from trauma and harm.
This training will empower attendees to create safer environments for young people to receive the support they need to have safer, healthier relationships.
This workshop aims to answer:
- Why focus on teenage relationship abuse?
- What is teenage relationship abuse?
- What data is available and what is it telling us?
- What practical steps can we take to prevent and respond to teenage relationship abuse?
Who Should Attend: This session is designed for professionals in health, social care, policing, education and related sectors who work directly or indirectly with families affected by domestic abuse
