Salary: £23,422.30 Pro Rata (£29,277.88 FTE) 

Hours: 28 hours per week

Contract: Fixed Term Contract Until June 2026. 

About the role: Age UK is looking for an energetic and inspiring Community Engagement Service Officer to join our Community Engagement team. This is a vital role in their work with older people and involves liaising with all of our teams to support our work in engaging people. They are embarking on a new, exciting programme in the community connecting with people where they live and shop. The voice of older people and their inclusion in our service planning and delivery is key.

You will lead and organise a variety of events to engage and listen to residents in collaboration with our service leads. You will connect with various community organisations for joint events and activities as well as support our services to reach as many people as possible throughout the borough. You will recruit, engage and support a great team of volunteers at different activities and events.
