Local Area Coordination is specific approach to helping people build a positive vision for their lives, a plan for how to achieve their vision, and to ‘walk alongside’ people while they take positive action themselves. To find out more visit: www.lacnetwork.org

As a Local Area Coordinator working in Old Coulsdon, you’ll be rooted in the area working with local people, families and the community. You will become a familiar presence and a trusted point of contact for local people. 

You will use a person centred and strengths-based approach to help people improve their health and wellbeing, build resilience, strengthen natural networks and navigate complex systems. You’ll also play a vital role in helping communities grow stronger, more inclusive and more connected.

This is a rewarding, highly relational role where every day will be different.

This Local Area Coordinator role is based in the Old Coulsdon community and whilst driving is not a requirement; you must be able to travel to and around the area to be considered for this role. Candidates with a UK driving licence and have a car are preferred.

There will be occasional work outside of normal office hours, during evenings and weekends.
