About the role

The council has a new and exciting Public Health Evaluation & Evidence Lead (LARP) role for an experienced professional to join our team.

The LARP will support the council to improve outcomes by embedding evidence in all policies and increasing research capacity and capabilities. This post is part funded by the Specialist Centre for Public Health (SCPH), as part of the National Health Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).  

They are looking for a creative and strategic thinker who will be instrumental in establishing Croydon as a research‑active, insight‑driven organisation. The LARP will lead the development of Croydon’s approach to public health research, including research governance, capacity building, evaluation support, and partnership development with the NHS, academia, and the voluntary, faith, and community sector (VFCS).
